I’m Rose, your teacher, guide and musical mentor at Rose Riebl Piano Studio.
As a pianist, composer, mother, and dedicated teacher, I have over 15 years of experience guiding students of all ages, from young beginners, to advanced musicians, to adult learners.
My teaching philosophy is intuitive, shaped through personal expression rather than rigid academic structures. As a performer, this practice manifests onto the stage.
I still have to pinch myself that my music has reached audiences across the world, with sold-out shows in cities such as Melbourne, Paris, and Reykjavík. I also compose for films, and have been commissioned to write an opera.

Less like a classroom, more like a sanctuary.
Under a big tree, my teaching + filming studios are both located in the inner north of Melbourne. They are close to the hum of the city, local cafes, bike bells and native birds. But inside the walls of the studio there's a calm, quiet and total focus on the music we're here to make.
